The Chicago Dirt Riders (CDR) held its 10th year celebrations on Saturday, December 19 at the Intercontinental Chicago O’Hare. Led by two-term President Alvin Ang the event also hosted the 3rd annual championship banquet and Christmas party.
Guest speaker for the evening was Justine Messenger, owner of KI Tracks where the club holds most of its races. The incoming set of officers was inducted by Kesa Bajamunde, President of the Zamboanga del Norte Association in Illinois.
Stephanie Luz Angela, Stephen Angelo and Francis Hanz T. Hamoy became full-pledged Catholics at their First Communion held at the Holy Family Chapel in Des Plaines, Illinois on Saturday, March 29. Attended by close friends and relatives the solemn rite was officiated by Fr. Manuel Duterte and assisted by Fr. Anthony Pizarro. The siblings are the children of Angie and Stephen Hamoy.
