My dearest friends, relatives, and family,
The Gospel of John
Chapter 3: 15-17
“Everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.”
Praised be Jesus and Mary!!!
My heartfelt thanks for your most sincere support during my most difficult times. I can not express enough how fortunate and blessed I am for the endless and unconditional gestures of love, support and kindness you bestowed upon me and to my entire family. You have made our struggles easy to bear through the endless prayers you offered for me and my family. All of these I will forever treasure.
On Thursday, October 29, two thousand and nine, at nine forty five in the evening, God has carried me to an everlasting resting place.
It is a miracle that during my last moments, I was surrounded with all of my loving family at Zamboanga del Norte Cooperative Hospital, Turno, Dipolog City. Our heavenly Father has guided and safely gathered all of my family together to be with me and on my bedside during the last few days God has blessed me with. I have peacefully departed praying the holy rosary which coincides the celebration of the month of the Holy Rosary.
I have lived my life fully in Jesus name, with no regrets, no remorse, no guilt, and no sorrow. In fact, I am so blessed to be surrounded with a beautiful family, and wonderful friends, and although it was cut short, in God’s plan, it was a mission accomplished. My courage and my strong will have made me overcome any adversities, and my positive outlook in life has brought me places that I could only used to dream of. Indeed, I have fully lived a very simple life, yet rich with joy, full of love, abundance of blessings, and a gift of life that I can truly be proud of.
In life all good things must come to an end. But my loving friends and family, this is not the end. Among the countless awards that I have reaped during my existence here on earth, it is the award of eternal peace and a place in heaven that I will take with me. My life continues for me in heaven where I will be with God’s grace and I will continue my fellowship with you until we meet here in heaven.
My family and I are truly blessed to have known you and have considered us as your friends and that God has made us a family. I will forever cherish all of our memories.
Let’s continue to pray the Holy Rosary and let there be peace on earth!
Thank you and God bless!
Mommie, Ma’am Cit, Lola Cita, Auntie Cita, Tia Cita, Manang Cit.

Mam Cita was someone who believed in completing the 9-day prayer for the Departed, she used to say that a one day prayer is not enough(I jokingly answered, ngano man Mam Cit,taman ra ka sa purgatoryo if dili ka pangadyean ug 9 days…dayon niya ug talidhay),she must have been serious because she left behind several 9 Day Novena Pamphlets with Elsie Pelegrino, her ever loyal, loyal, loyal friend, you can choose the kind of Novena, eninglis, bisaya, karaan, modern, this was her request that a 9Day Novena be said for her, although she couldn’t scold us anymore if we may not do her request, this is not really much of an asking for someone who dedicated her life in helping others, she was there, if naay magda-ot, to kamatayon, bisan pag mamatay ug kadlawon, adto gyod dayon siya, on to Punerarya, to viewing, and if dad on pa sa Philippines ang remains, tabangan pa niya, hahayyy, no one can ever take her place, she may not have been perfect, pastilan..wala nay mangasaba og mag mando nako sa taman taman, but her imperfections is just minute compared to her good deeds,I knew she meant well in all that she was doing, now that she is gone, I will miss all that, and even if she was not my Step Aunt, having known the kind of person she was, I would still be one with Elsie and Desiree in fulfilling her request.AMBIBO could never be wrong in choosing her as Person of the Year.

Mama Cita, {as I kiddingly used to call her}, has now passed the transition from this life of mortal breath to the portal of eternal light – we call death. But I am pretty sure, as everybody in the dipolognon group is aware, her memory of endless leadership and inspirational help will live on and on. My condolence to the Orbecido-Bajamunde family. I am here in San Diego but my thoughts and prayers are all there with you in Chicago. Cyd, carry on!!!!

Ninang Cita,
Edgar and I will forever be grateful, humbled and honored having you as one of our Ninangs at the reaffirmation of our wedding vows on our 25th anniversary.
For touching our lives with your kindness, thoughtfulness, love, care and deep concern, you will be lovingly remembered for the rest of our lives.
Ninang, I will always think of you everytime I make your favorite cookies, the ones you lovingly requested me to make because it’s not greasy and it doesnt hurt your stomach. So with Rachel’s siopao which you and Ian liked.
I will always remember the couple of times I ate lunch with you, bisan humana ko ug kaon pero imo gyud ko pugson ug pakaon and I couldnt resist kay magkinamot ta over lutong mais and bulad (you brought from dipolog) inihaw na pampano, uyap with lemon and tomatoes.
Ninang Cita is gone but not forever for me as these beautiful and good memories of her will always stay with me and will always be recalled.
To Ninong Juste and family, my heart goes out to you but may you find comfort in the knowledge that Ninang Cita is not in pain anymore and that she is now very happy in the loving arms of our Creator.
Thank you my Ninang Cita. I love you and I will be missing you immeasurably.
MAY YOU REST IN PEACE!

i join the multitude of family and friends in pain right now because of the passing away of our beloved icon, ma’am cita. as a priest, i was and will always be inspired by her very deep faith in god and her unwavering humble service to god’s people. she was a nanay to me, a counselor, a friend, and a teacher. i never doubted, not even for an instance, that she always deserve the title of respect and endearment: ma’am cita. she will be sorely missed but i am also full of hope that she is now enjoying eternal bliss with God who she so faithfully served and praised. with father manny duterte, and all the people who have been blest by the person of ma’am cita, i commend her soul to God’s loving arms.
i will attend her burial on the 7th of november and, for the last time, i will say thank-you and a-dieu to ma’am cita.
my heartfelt and most sincere condolences to manung juste, carlou, ian and the rest of the family.
