IBU Releases Sophomore CD “Inspired By U”

After more than a year of working in this project, IBU’s sophomore album is finally ready for distribution. The album is titled “Inspired By U,” which is what IBU stands for. On this album, IBU hopes to showcase their true R&B character as an artist, and in the true tradition of their soulful and harmony drenched compositions.  The songs will present a more mature IBU, vocally and artistically.

The album was originally scheduled for release in August 2008, but due to technical problems, scheduling conflicts, personal tragedies the release was delayed. IBU wanted this album to contain songs that people would listen to from track one to the last song, and are did not comprome quality with deadlines. The members of IBU are all songwriters, and they wrote most of the songs on the album, and they decided not to let pressure affect their creative process, thus allowing them to put special attention to the songwriting process.

Several producers and songwriters from all over the U.S and Europe are involved in this project, and IBU picked who to work with from the many that sent samples of their work.  IBU had to go through hundreds of tracks that were submitted to find that chemistry between artist and producer, and to find the track that fits IBU’s style.  Most of the tracks are customized for IBU. >

The sophomore album contains twelve tracks, with predominantly R&B songs and some  pop, with combination of ballads and uptempo club tracks. IBU guarantee the best quality album, IBU sought the services of the sound engineers of California based “Industy Mastering,” the company that worked with artists such as Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Usher, Mary J Blige, Jay-Z, Sean Paul, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Prince, just to name a few.
