please improve the stage for miss zanorte…
it was not fit for a queen at all…
it made the show not just cheap but VERY CHEAP!

The candidates for Miss ZaNorte 2009 were all beautiful, they do not need the heavy make up.Whoever did the make up of the Miss ZAMNAI Illinois,Jacky Te, if ever she wore one, should be admired. Jacky’s face looks very natural.

labi na gyud tong apil sa top 3 nga wa gyud intawon magkadimao ang tubag..we always remember that a woman who will represent women in zanorte must be a package of morality,beauty and must be intelligent.

Well, the winner gave the best answer among the finalists. Unfortunately, most of their answers were like memorized. I later found out that the winner was ethnic- half muslim and half subanen, and a survivor of massacre. Its amazing she turned out fine.
There were two batches of judges — one for pre-pageant and one during the pageant — and the results were added up/averaged.
I was among the judges during the pageant itself and it was not easy to make a judgment right there and then. However, I still believe that the top 3 winners were among the best.

Miss Sibuco delegate-Raqcuel Escandar Asa(21,a nursing graduate from a prestigious university in Western Mindanao) indeed gave the best answer that is why she brought home the crown & enjoy the previledge of being Miss Zanorte 09.She zestfully answered the question & made the crowd wild during the pageant night.She was queried what was the craziest thing she had ever done in her life,she answered – telling the guy that he liked him,that it is normal nowadays to express ones feelings towards the other irregardless of sexual orientations,that the world is running short out of men.-adding humor to her answer.Very unadulterated answer & gestures she had unlike the other finalists wowed the audience & placed her on the spot.Racquel outshined and well-liked during the monthlong duration of the pageant topping every exposures.She brought home awards like the coveted Darling of the Press & other sponsor awards.Elegant & stunning in her bare back torquise jersey Long Gown oppulently bejeweled with rhinestone brooches that flattered her morena complexion and complements with her Filipina facial peculiarity, and impressive performance during the swimsuit round left me dubious after the separate results.I & Judith Bajamunde Pajaro( top Manila Fashion Designer & owner of Alexandra by the Sea in Dapitan City) shared the same dissapointment.We dont know what happened.But we both firmly bank on,with grace & elegance of Racquel aside from her exquisite beauty & wit she deserved to win.Hoping to see her in National Pageants soon & make Zanortejanons verily proud of her.

I was told by one of the organizers that Ms. Sybuco scored the highest in the swim suit category as judged during the final pageant. However, the best swim suit award was based on the pre-judging results.

walay klarong basehan diay tong pagproklama sa mga resulta …ms sibuco ok lang molusot sa top 3..pero i was not convinced the that the other two winners deserved their ist and second runner up title..daghan pang mas deserving…lets respect the judges decision but i dont think they arrived a t a wise decision…intelligent decision..peace…

wala koy gipaburan nga kandidata ..ako ..gabase lang ko sa ako naobserbahan s amga tawo after the result wa sproclaimed…dayun base pod sa akong nakita..sayang man gud ang effort sa mga mas deserving pa tapos..lupigon ra sila adtong dili pod angayan molusot..di ba? ….i think we need to evaluate everything ..

All contest’ criteria where winners are picked by totality of scores /judgement that are based on personal assesment and perception /biases of the Board of Judges are really VERY SUBJECTIVE PER SE.
SO THE AUDIENCE HAVE THEIR OWN PICKS WHICH IS REALLY BASED ON THEIR ACTUAL PERCEPTION OF THE CANDIDATES PARAdED BEFORE THEM.actually all the candidates are the best of the bests on their respective localities/nations /organizations they represent, its just the breaks during the game.. just Remember this saying in any beuaty Contest, ” BEAUTY LIES ON THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER ‘ AND ON THIS CASE THE JUDGES.

sabagay all the beauty contest circa 50’s to 90’s sa probinsya or towns eh MONEY CONTEST. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL is the one who can give /raise the most money for the event.or a CAUSE. like therewas a beauty contest before where the winner presented to the judges 5500 tails of RATS from rats they killed on the locality.fight against rats infestation . Sa Zamboanga Norte unsa may number one nga peste ?

Duh!!!!cge mog lalis anang pageant…wala ba mo kabalo kita ray gibinuangan ang show….dako kaayo ug gasto sa panudlanan sa probinsya…wala nahimo para sa kaayuhan sa katawhan..ang labawng tinuod…ginegosyo nila ang hudyaka para sa ilang kaugalingon interest…busa HUDYAKA lay pulos!!!

seens naay hudyaka always jd ko apil s balikbayan nights.ako lang ika comments this past balikbayan night ghimo n nilang negosyo.bisag s sulod sa party or venue.naay namaligya ug drinks.knwing agsa dipolog pa g-heald ang balikbayan nights wla jd bsg gamay kwarta migawas s ako bulsa.kamaot s ila gbuhat.kanang ila gbuhat ug ila gtabang s kalisud s lalawigan s zamboanga del norte.i dnt get it.in general kanang ila hudyaka wlay hinungdan.politics ghapon.kai bsg may speech hapit hutdon ang oras pra lang mailhan s katawhan.wlay asenso ang zamboanga del norte.unya pinili ra ang pictures nga ibutang s ambibo website.whats up with that????

Why are they reacting so much of the Miss Zanorte 09 Results? winners are always gonna be winners..I think they are deserving. Losers are gonna be losers till the end.. better luck next time..that’s how a contest goes, whether u like the results or not, that’s how it was judged.. Congratulations to “Miss Sibuco”! Miss Racquel Asa. “Miss Rizal” Miss Cherry Lou Lugo and “Miss Roxas” Miss Sheena Arabani.. Great job!
