Absolute HealthCare Systems, Inc. thanked its employees, partners, suppliers and supporters in a lavish holiday reception on Saturday, December 20 at the Trump International Hotel and Tower in downtown Chicago. Partners Lagrimas Sorronda and Asad Malik hosted the affair.

Mr. Malik welcomed everyone and expressed his appreciation to their employees whose dedication and hard work has turned this startup into the success that is has become today.

At the same event, Lagrimas Sorronda announced her investment in Ambibo.com. This signals the expansion of the website to other expatriate Filipino communities around the world and expansion to broadcast, print and event promotion.

In her speech, Miss Sorronda expressed her belief in the future of Ambibo.com and its potential to connect our kababayans worldwide. She also cited plans for the establishment of the Ambibo Foundation which will serve as the philanthropic arm of the new corporation. Its emphasis will be on health care and the environment.

She concluded with a quote from Daniel Burnham, the famed architect and urban planner, “Make no small plans, they have no magic to stir men’s blood.”

The annual gift-giving didn’t disappoint this year – with prizes ranging from signature bags and ties, elegant stationery sets and the latest electronic gadgets.

The wintry blast of arctic winds and blowing snow didn’t keep guests and their families from rushing to the Tower by the frozen Chicago River for an evening of warm get-together. Drinks flowed from an open bar as a pianist and her young violin protégé played in the background. A dinner of beef tenderloin and lobster followed in the grand ballroom, set amidst a stunning view of the city’s glittering skyline.
