Ambibo.com is delighted to launch FACES of AMBIBO/ZaNorte and deeply honored to present Ms. Miracle Romano as our inaugural personality. Our sincere thanks to her and her parents, Rosalio "Didi" Olvis Romano and Marietta "Laclac" Ladera Dalman-Romano.
“Miracle Romano” in my own words would be rather selfish if this sentence began with “I Am.” So allow me to begin by saying that in every person is a miracle, and other than the miracle of life everyone is blessed with, each miracle varies. Mine simply happens to be the fact that I have been graced with dedicated parents who decided to have me and my siblings home-schooled and raised in an unconventional system despite the concerned and previously doubtful society. Their main purpose in home-schooling us was to harbour us from manifold sorts of bad influence during our cultivating years. This decision not only made them realize their goal, but it also resulted in so much more. We had the extra time to study art and music that otherwise would not have been this bounteous due to the educational system that is basically concentrated only on academics. Furthermore, my brothers and I had the best full-time tutors – our own parents. My mom being a journalism graduate from UP Diliman is where my love for writing and literature springs from, and my dad being a fine arts graduate from UST, is where I credit my artistic side. The passion for music emanates from both sides of the family.
So if I am to say what I am; a musician? It could be. A writer? There’s a possibility. An artist? Not quite yet but perhaps. But, a daughter? A definite yes. I am my parent’s (sole) daughter, I am a daughter of Dipolog, but most importantly, I am a daughter of God. That is Miracle Dalman Romano in my own words.
P.S.
It is quite ironic that I, whose face usually prefers to be cropped out or partly concealed in artistic photos, should be featured in Ambibo’s “Faces”. Brand me autistic or insecure, but it is a fact that I often avoid eye-contact with the camera’s lens in my solo photos. Being admittedly un-photogenic with my heavy and imbalanced brows which I forbade anyone to “fix” during the photo shoot, I admit I was not being an easy subject. “No foundation, no eye-liner, and no make-up if possible,” I begged – and it was not for the reason that I believed I was already picture-perfect that I did not need any of those; it is because I always wish to look as natural as possible. Thanks to the supports of Ambibo’s Dipolog contacts (Aleksi, Ku, and Jarian), they have made me seem rather tolerable and human despite my unusual beauty (or should I say “ugly”?) requests. Moreover, I wish to thank Mr. Armand Frasco for caring enough to recognize not only the faces, but each miracle of today’s youth, and the miracle that is us – people of Zamboanga del Norte.

I am, in all outspokenness, are in scarcity for words to inscribe wholeheartedly, how I appreciate her just being the most lovely thing she is.
Quite a bit of an enormity, wouldn’t you think, if someone just like her would ramp up, just out-of-the-blue, throw in your way, one of the greatest times of your youth? An understatement, still. But, if that’d occur to you, you’re one of the luckiest person to walk the earth.
Thank you for the friendship, Meew. :D

Marvelously humble and gifted, I would not know of all of the imperfections stated here. Miracle is truly a gifted and insightful as well as knowledge hungry young lady. A person of any age benefits from knowing her and witnessing her contributions to humanity and the discipline of the arts.
I consider it a wonderful grace to know Miracle on any level, and this piece speaks to those who she touches with her presence.
Congratulations and much continued success. Your whole life, is a beauty.

Wow! Miracle, you truly are an impressive face of Ambibo. I enjoyed reading about you. I hope one of these days I can see you perform. I haven’t met you, nor you me, but I know your parents, Laclac and Didi. They’ve done a wonderful job raising and educating you. You are not only beautiful, but intelligent. I am sure your dreams of traveling will come true.

When I bring my daughter home, I would want her to meet you and become a friend. She’s a year younger than you are, she could share to you her experiences about her travel to Europe and that your dream of seeing this continent is not impossible.GOD gave you a talent and this could lead you to wherever you want to go. You can be a very good role model, home schooled, yet, probably better educated that those taught inschool.I’m sure you are every parent’s dream for a child.

To Seth Miranda:
Hi Seth! I never thought I’d get featured here. I always thought they only picked the good-looking people. haha ;-) Saw your photos too. You’ve grown up so much! I’m sure samot na ka daghan ang admirers. haha Thanks for commenting. Come visit us when you return to Dipolog. You know where to find us.
To Chi Dude:
I’m lost for words, but thank you, still. =)
To Mic:
Hello, Mic. You must be a distant relative. Thanks for acknowledging this post.
To AngelDavid:
Hahaha… very funny, Mae. You know I’m still a baby on the violin. It just so happens that they wished to portray my violinist side rather than the more-experienced pianist side. Plus, the violin is way easier to carry around. Secondly, I have absolutely no talent in posing and acting. Let’s thank the Dipolog Ambibo crew for convincing people that I do. Thanks for being there for me always.
To Maria Cyd Adriatico:
Wow, Ma’am. It’s delightful to know that your daughter has been to these places that I only dream about. It would be wonderful to meet her. I’d especially want to hear about Greece and Russia. =) Thank you very much for your generous comments.
May God be with you all.

September 10th, 2008 at 9:35 pm
She hasn’t been to Russia (maybe you can travel together), yes Greece, France, Italy, and other places in Europe that she can tell you about. It also started with a dream that became a reality.Again, let her tell you more about it when she visits Dipolog. She will be looking for you.

DIDI is a very talented artist both in cartography and classic /contempo
guitar player. MOre than that he is tough and fast shooting guard of
Labod and Dipolog City Varsity selection in his heydays sometimes against the likes of PBA player Lito Eguia of Dapitan, and Oliveros Dalman / Joseph Herrera NCAA player Calvin Winters etc…Laclac is more of the arts in the ACADEME.
No wonder why they had a prodigy. DIDI and Laclac CONGATULATIONS…

Hi Miracle. We are proud of you being a gifted Filipina. And what makes me especially proud of you is the fact that my wife carries the same middle and last name as you do. She is Joyce Nacional Dalman from Lawaan, Dapitan City. She’s the eldest daughter of the late Salvador Dalman and Zita Nacional Dalman. Joyce is married to me so she now carries my last name Romano.
I am Josemar M. Romano and we are currently residing in Iloilo City. My roots are from Negros Oriental.
We are coming home to Dapitan this December and we hope to meet you. Can you meet my family then? I’m sure my 13-year old daughter Sam would love to meet you as she also loves music.
You may view some of our family photos @ http://romano-generation.com if you want.
