The Polanco Association in Illinois (POLASIL) celebrated their town fiesta on May 24 at the Golf-Maine park District in Niles, Illinois.

Headed by Ermie Repaja-Nalzaro the event brought together Polanquenos from all over the Chicagoland area and their friends. The mass, officiated by Fr. Manny Duterte kicked off the well-attended celebration. Another highlight of the evening was the raffle draw with valuable donated prizes.

Devotees take turn at the traditional dancing for the city’s patron saint at this year’s feast of San Vicente Ferrer at Proesel Park in Skokie, Illinois. A concelebrated mass followed the procession and lunch attended by Dipolognons and their friends from Chicagoland. Visitors also came from as far as New Jersey.
