Cita O. Bajamunde (seated, center) and Fr. Manny Duterte hosted a meeting on Sunday, February 10 to plan for this year’s fiesta celebrations. The volunteers discussed logistics and other preparations for the twin festivities slated in May; for San Vicente Ferrer and in October in honor of the Virgin of the Most Holy Rosary. Aside from its religious significance both feast days have become the “must-attend” social event for Dipolognons not only in the Chicagoland area but also in the midwest and beyond.

While the Dipolog Fiesta Committee came together, another group of Dipolognons, some Alumni of St. Mary’s Academy,were in another venue in Chicago to discuss and finalize plans for the coming reunion this year. Along with Desiree Ladera Lee, Althea Miranda, Hayley Adraincem Patangan and Odelle Omana Bagarinao,we came up with a plan that would make this reunion truly memorable. If any Marian can read this, you will hear from the ever loyal and devoted Marian named Desiree soon.
