Lights flashed and techno music throbbed deep down Joem Bayawa’s basement studio on Chicago’s North Side Saturday as Abigail, Crikette, Ruphy Anne and Theresa turned, twisted, crawled and struck poses straight out of the latest fashion glossies. This was Miss ZaNorte-Illinois 2007 Glamour Photo Shoot and boy did we get tons of pixelicious shots. Here’s a sneak peek. You’ll have to be at the pageant on December 15 to see the rest.
Parents, representatives of sponsoring organizations and ZAMNAI officers met later that evening for orientation and updates on the upcoming production.
