Aeia Sue Nazario-Adriatico held her debut at the Carlisle in Lomabard, Illinois last Saturday, June 29. In attendance were relatives and friends from all over the United States.
The debutante is the only daughter of Dr. Claude Adriatico and Suzy Nazario, both from Dipolog City.

Hi Claude. How quickly time flies. Was that the little girl Aeia Sue you carried? I doubt if you remember meeting me back in college (or was it in high school?). Now admit we’re getting older.

Firstly, yes, Abby, as the song goes, she was indeed the little girl I carried. Secondly, we do remember you, especially that you bear one of the familiar names in the reporting world during our time. And thirdly, here’s a few words of advice: you may admit to anything, even to stealing, but never, ever admit to getting old!

How time flies. I never realized though that Aeia Sue had turned 18. I might be late in congratulating the proud parents but better later than never. In my previous placement I was really bereft of an internet connection. Only this time that I am in Addis Ababa where I could get the access regularly. What can I say? I was really fascinated browsing all those photos taken during the debut celebration. Best regards to everyone and keep in touch.

Would you be kind enough to give us your last name? We’ve been quite fortunate and privileged to have crossed paths with a lot of good and decent Allans in our lives, and we just can’t seem to place you anywhere, no matter how much we try. Though not a renowned tourist area, in fact far from being even a simple one, Addis Ababa still is one exotic place we’d like to visit someday. Thanks so much for your greetings and kind words.
